I always felt that I belonged everywhere and yet nowhere at all. I found so many places I loved, but nowhere that I was compelled to stay.
I would imagine that the moon followed me home and that it had lessons for me. I saw sadness in the smiles of strangers and was entranced by the universal language of laughter. I was always silently wondering. I imagined the whole world, all my life. Because I was scared of it, and because I wanted to know it.
So now I find myself with a backpack and the road before me, terrified and excited.
I travel the world as I try to write my truth, in poetry and stories, in the hope that it will resonate with a dreamer like you. We’re all just passing through, after all, just trying to find our way.
